This MPI nickel boron bolt carrier group is designed for AR-15 platform rifles chambered in 5.56 NATO. It drops directly into mil-spec receivers with no fitting required. The carrier features a hard-wearing nickel boron finish over 9310 steel, paired with a Carpenter 158 bolt that has passed magnetic particle inspection. Extractor and ejector components use nitride-treated 4140 steel for reliable cycling. As with all our components, this BCG is manufactured in the USA and functions as a semi-automatic part, firing one round per trigger pull. Suitable for build projects or as a replacement for worn factory carriers in M4, M16, or civilian AR-15 variants.
