Guides: Which MP5 trigger fits
This is the RD3 as most MP5 owners want it: the forced reset mechanism inside a SEF pattern housing, so the gun keeps the layout and the feel it was built with. The selector sits on the left side and indexes through safe, semi and forced reset. Each round still needs its own separate pull of the trigger; what changes is that the carrier returns the trigger to the reset point as it cycles, so the second shot starts from a trigger that is already coming forward.
It drops into the MP5, MP5K, SP5 and SP5K packs with no fitting or machining. Because the roller-delayed system has no gas port and no buffer to tune, the timing does not drift the way it can on an AR host, provided the locking piece and recoil spring are in good order. If you run a PTR pattern clone, take the PTR selector kit with it.
